Concrete Technician - Denmark
We are currently recruiting for a Concrete Technician on behalf of one of our clients who is a market leading specialist construction company. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Concrete Technician to join our construction team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of concrete materials and structures in our construction projects. The Concrete Technician will be responsible for conducting tests, and providing quality control throughout the construction process.
Responsibilities
- Quality Control:
- Preparation of concrete slump tests and cube making in accordance with the project concrete testing policies.
- Perform tests on freshly mixed and hardened concrete samples to assess properties such as compressive strength, consistency, and durability
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Field Inspections:
- Conduct on-site inspections to verify proper placement, finishing, and curing of concrete.
- Recording of concrete deliveries for large concrete casing and necessary project paperwork to comply with QA/QC procedures.
- Collaborate with construction teams to address any issues or deviations from project specifications.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results, mix designs, and inspection reports.
- Prepare and submit timely reports to project managers and other stakeholders.
- Material Testing:
- If required, conduct laboratory tests on raw materials, including aggregates, cement, and water, to ensure compliance with specified standards.
- Analyze test results and make recommendations for adjustments to achieve desired concrete properties.
Necessary Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Concrete Technician or in a similar role within the construction industry would be an advantage.
- Relevant certifications in concrete technology or quality control would be an advantage
- Familiarity with relevant testing methods and standards.
- Understanding of concrete materials, mix designs, and construction processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with project teams.
- The necessary training and inductions will be provided for the right candidate.
